Performance characteristics

Construction process

1. Grinding Treatment: Use a professional floor grinding machine to thoroughly grind the substrate surface. This treatment effectively removes impurities adhering to the floor, leaving it clean and creating a roughened surface that enhances adhesion. It’s an excellent method for treating floors that are neither contaminated nor damaged. Under these conditions, the topcoat will exhibit superior bonding strength with the substrate.
2. Repair of cracks, voids, hollow areas, and damaged substrates: Any brittle concrete within the construction area must be removed. All cracks, voids, hollow areas, and similar defects should be fully exposed using tools such as electric hammers, jackhammers, or grinders, and then repaired with epoxy-based materials.
3. Application of the Primer Coat: Evenly roll-apply the thoroughly mixed primer material onto the concrete substrate that has been sanded and repaired. Ensure even coverage with no omissions. This primer coat plays a crucial role in the overall epoxy flooring system, serving as a vital link between the underlying surface and the topcoat. Ideally, the primer material should penetrate the concrete and form a thin film on the floor surface.

4. Application of the Mid-Coat Mortar Layer: After mixing the mid-coat paint according to the specified ratio, add an appropriate amount of quartz sand (mesh size: 60–140 mesh) and stir thoroughly until evenly blended. Then, pour the prepared mixture onto the floor in an appropriate quantity and apply it using a scraper. This coating is designed to enhance the floor’s mechanical properties, including wear resistance, compressive strength, and impact resistance.
5. Putty Layer Application: Apply the mid-coat putty layer to level the floor surface. After the putty layer has fully dried, seal off the construction area and strictly prohibit unauthorized personnel from entering. Re-clean the floor surface, carefully inspect it, remove any surface particles, and repair any defects on the floor. Then, use a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean and dust the floor, preparing it for the topcoat application.
6. Epoxy Topcoat Application: The purpose is to enhance the floor’s smoothness and durability. Apply the epoxy topcoat evenly over the epoxy sealing primer layer using a professional roller. Ensure that the application is performed vertically and that no areas are missed.
7. Polyurethane Ultra-Wear-Resistant Topcoat Application: Mix and stir the polyurethane ultra-wear-resistant topcoat according to the standard ratio, then apply it evenly onto the epoxy primer layer using a professional roller. At least a team of three people should work together during application—first scrape, then roll, and apply in a vertical direction, ensuring no areas are missed.
